Committees

In an effort to continue to provide our members with informative educational programs on “hot topics”, great networking opportunities to meet other industry leaders, as well as to give back to the community, we are looking for volunteers to serve on some of our Chapter’s committees.

 

Serving on a committee gives you the opportunity to meet and to work with other Chapter members. Our committees are the lifeblood of our organization. Your participation and input will grow both our Chapter and yourself. You will not be disappointed.

 

NJ Chapter Committees

 

The following is a list of NJ Chapter committees, as well as the mission statement of each committee:

 

Membership Committee - To promote membership and involvement in CFMA by and through: (1) identifying & recruiting candidates for membership; (2) educating the local construction industry on the benefits of membership; and (3) assisting existing members in becoming active participants in the organization.

 

Program Committee - To design and execute monthly programs reflecting the educational, informational, and networking needs of our New Jersey Chapter Members.  These programs will be relevant, timely, and presented in formats most convenient and meaningful to our members.

 

Social Media Committee - To promote education programs, charitable endeavors, national or regional conferences, regular dinner meetings, social events, content disseminated by the CFMA national office via social media, and other programs established by the Chapter or national office for the benefit of its members. The committee will promote these programs and events on the Chapter’s website or on social media.

 

Scholarship Committee - To administer the Chapter’s scholarship program, as well as promote the organization’s commitment to continuing education to its members and potential members.

 

Finance and Charities Committee - To maintain the Chapter’s finances, including coordinating payments for various events, providing financial reporting and updates to the Board. In addition, promoting CFMA’s commitment to the community through its involvement and participation in charitable endeavors.

 

Education and Conferences Committee - To promote CFMA’s commitment to education by planning and organizing regional and local conferences designed to educate our members regarding current hot topics affecting the construction industry.
